Power at the time was the regular offering of a marinised 1.4 litre Morris Oxford side valve petrol engine. Marketed as “Morris Navigator” series with “drum type” reverse gear.
 
The current engine is a 1 litre 23 hp 3 cylinder Mitsubishi diesel on a modern marine gearbox. Hull speed is 6 knots.
 
The hull to beam ratio of 3:1 gives an extremely stable safe performance.
 
Hydraulic steering, pumps, wiring, drive shaft etc. are all new giving an extremely reliable day boat.
2004/5 to 2018 A very thorough 12 year programme of restoration as a day cruiser was embarked on to a very high standard using modern resins and finishes together with the traditional copper fastenings costing at least £27,000 (original accounts with the vessel paperwork).
 
Whenever the vessel has made a short visit to a public pier it has always attracted large numbers of admirers.
 
The vessel is offered for sale to discerning owners who appreciate the quality of what is on offer.
There is considerable commercial interest at above this figure but the whole point is to preserve and display a rare example of high quality craftsmanship on Windermere  requiring minimal maintenance.
