The 360 FLY brings a breath of fresh air to the compact flybridge category. With a clever interior layout it offers a surprisingly roomy living arrangement on board. The striking exterior is a given on a Galeon yacht.
 
The cockpit area is fitted with an L-shaped sofa with a drop down backrest and wide steps that lead to the flybridge. Move the glass door out of the way, flip the saloon seat to face the aft and create an even larger area for activities.
 
With 2 heads: 1 en suite to the forward master, and 1 day heads, this is a perfect boat for a family of 4 or more. Each of the 2 cabins has ample storage and plenty of headroom for changing. Bathed in natural light and well ventilated, these are truly luxurious spaces.
 
The galley includes an electric hob hidden under a flip lid on the work surface, and the sink comes with a fitted cover both of which provide you with the space for preparation when not in use. There's also a very "James Bond" feature with the hi/lo remote-operated TV inserted into the back of the galley worktop. There is a brand new Bosch microwave in the cupboard under the helm seat - additional power sockets being professionally installed in the next week or so.
 
The moulded flybridge steps nod to the overall quality you can expect from a Galeon. The flybridge space is enormous! The centrally sited helm station is a very useful feature. The dual helm seats have flip backrests to allow you to face forward when on the water, and to face aft and join the party when moored. The aft seating has a hi/low backrest which allows you to convert this section into a huge sunpad when not dining, and the co pilot helm seat also drops to convert that seating area into a further sun lounge.
 
From the lower helm you can exit via a full height sliding door to starboard, and head out to the bow area. Yet more sunpads greet you, and again there's a clever additional flip-up forward-facing seat which will be an absolute delight to enjoy when underway or at anchor.
 
Back in the cockpit you're treated to yet more innovative Galeon design features. The backrest of the aft seating drops and the base pulls forward which allows you to flip the seat pad and this creates a HUGE sunpad which is sure to please on those endless sunny days!
 
All in all this is a very tastefully designed, spacious, well cared for boat. Subject to survey she should offer you the chance to turn the key and go from the first weekend.
